I'll be celebrating 10 years of being married on March 10th. There's a saying here in Mexico that sometimes people like to use when they're asked for how long they've been married...they respond with, "Como 5 minutos abajo el agua." Translated would be, "Like 5 minutes under water." :) Getting married here isn't an easy thing to do because we're foreigners. Or I should say getting married by the civil registry, because Hugo and I didn't get married by the church, we just had a civil ceremony. I don't know if you know this or not, but if a couple is only married by the church, they're not considered legally married.
