This is our story of immigration struggles and moving to Mexico so our family can be together. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy!

Since it has been awhile...

Figured i would pop in and say Hi! Nothing really to say or report. Life here is dull at best. Not in a bad way necessarly, there is just not a lot going on right now. I leave for the US in five weeks. We will stay five weeks than fly back into Puerto Vallarta. Really excited for that.

My five year anniversary is March 25th. We are thinking about getting our legal marriage here taken care of at that time. NO other reason than it seemed like a cute idea. Maybe headed to the beach this weekend (melaque/barra de Navidad) That is always good times.

My parents wedding anniversary is also March 25th. I'll be celebrating 10 years of being married on March 10th. There's a saying here in Mexico that sometimes people like to use when they're asked for how long they've been married...they respond with, "Como 5 minutos abajo el agua." Translated would be, "Like 5 minutes under water." :) Getting married here isn't an easy thing to do because we're foreigners. Or I should say getting married by the civil registry, because Hugo and I didn't get married by the church, we just had a civil ceremony. I don't know if you know this or not, but if a couple is only married by the church, they're not considered legally married. Sorry for such the long comment.
